		PIT BULL TERRIER [mix] Oh, yeah, here he is...the man of the hour! Clooney is a special dog and will make just the right person a wonderful companion. This was an "abuse case" dog that we were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to rescue from just a bad situation. He seems to have made a terrific recovery from his past mistreatment and would love a real home with people who will love and care for him. This two year old dog has proven himself to be a stable and happy guy who loves his toys and does well with other dogs. We have enjoyed Clooney very much and are proud of his ability to trust and connect well with people. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. 		Staffordshire Terrier (mix) This girl will be the love of someone's life! Dot is a big favorite around the shelter because not only is she very sweet and affectionate she is also intelligent and fun to work with. 		Hound (mix) Pretty Sunny Girl is just an all around wonderful dog. She is friendly and likes to play. Sunny does well with other dogs and has no desire to be the boss. 		Chihuahua/Pomeranian Mix. Marty will have a better picture posted soon! Marty is a special, handsome little dog. He is shy with strangers but does love people that he knows. He is good with other dogs and cats, loves toys and does like to get silly and play. He is blind in one eye and can be quite nervous so would not be good for a home with active children. 		Beagle Mix. Little bitty Twitty is looking for a home. This little beagle mix weighs just over 17 pounds. She is NOT a brave dog by any measure but she is very sweet. This tiny darling is usually shy with people until she gets to know them but once she is comfortable this dog is really affectionate and animated. She just loves other dogs and does well with cats. 		English Springer Spaniel Mix Punch is a deaf dog. He is sweet but has had very little training. He will require an owner willing to teach him sign commands. He is good with most other dogs but does tend to be bossy so may be best as an only dog or with a dog that is easy going. Punch has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. 		Yellow Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei Mix Handsome Coco is a very sweet guy. He likes most other dogs and LOVES people! He will do pretty much anything to please you and would be a very fun dog to train. Coco is about 1 year old and has had a bit of training but needs work on leash manners and some more baisics.. We would like him to go to a home with a family or person that is able to spend quite a bit of time with him as we believe that he may suffer from mild seperation anxiety. 		Bouvier Des Flanders Mix Banjo is a very active and comical Bouv mix. He is about a year old and loves to play with people. This dog will require training but is very intelligent. He was recently shaved because he came to us with a very matted coat. He will grow out into a handsome long coat that will require regular maintainance. 		Chow Chow This little darling is looking for a forever home. Eyore is a sweet, charming and very friendly guy. He does well with other quiet dogs and seems good with cats. 		Cocker Spaniel! Buttercup is just a beautiful and joyful little girl. She is about 3 years old, friendly and affectionate. She seems good with most other dogs and is nice to cats. Buttercup loves going for walks and playing outside. The only thing that she needs to work on is her "happy pee" habit. She does piddle when she gets excited and should be helped to learn a little self control. She would do best in a home without small children. She has been spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped. 		Greyhound This wonderful, well-mannered guy is simply adorable. He's charming, loving, and very affectionate. 		Mountain Cur mix! (NEW video on the right posted 1/18/2012!) This is a wonderful, energetic young lady is affectionate and intelligent. She is a dog for an experienced dog owner looking for a great friend to train and spend time playing with. Dini can easily scale a 6 foot fence and will chase a cat. 		Husky/Boxer Mix! Oh, I know you are thinking that this dog looks really frightning. She is amazing and affectionate and very silly. Lizzie is really an odd little mutt with a great disposition. She may be Boxer, Husky, Lab and who knows what else. This girl has not had an easy life. She came to us with open sores, very underweight and with a rough coat. I suspect that she was left tied up much of her life. All of that is water under the bridge for our sweet Lizzie. This blue eyed girl just LLLLOOOOVVVEEEESSS people and is already starting to fill out and heal and bloom. 		Very Gentle Pit Bull! Oh, how I love this dog! Babe is a very wonderful and affectionate 4 year old dog. She is housebroken and leash trained and has been to and graduated from obediance classes. She is a lap dog and a lover. This dog does well with people and llllloooovvvveeeesss children. She CAN NOT LIVE WITH CATS and would do best as an only dog in a home. She gets along better with male dogs than females but is very tuned into people so has no real desire to be with other dogs. Babe has a strong prey drive so a fenced yard is a must.
